Our national board consists of seven members, each of whom has specific tasks and responsibilities. Terms last two years, which is relatively long for a youth organisation and allows the board to offer more experience and stability to the everchanging group of youngsters they oversee.
The board is chosen by and subject to the collective will of our members, who come together for a general meeting twice a year.
Benjamin van Sterkenburg was elected chairperson on the 13th of April 2019 and will resign at the congress of October 2020.
Benjamin is responsible for our organisation's vision, and has final responsibility for its long term success and contribution to our (international) movement.
He is our primary contact for media, for new initiatives and for matters relating to the Party for the Animals on a national level.

Emma Verhulp is temporary secretary until autumn 2020 because the elected secretary resigned early.
Emma is responsible for day-to-day matters, and has ultimate responsibility for ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols within the whole organisation.
She manages the info-mail and is the primary contact for general enquiries and requests.

Indra Gesink was elected as treasurer in October 2019. His term ends in the fall congress of 2021.
Indra is responsible for the budget and has responsibility for all fiscal matters. He also oversees our administrative department.
He is the primary contact for anything to do with money, including questions about donations.

Interim Board member Communication
Xenia is temporary board member Communication since May 2020 because the elected board member resigned early. A new board member will be elected on the congress of 2020.
Xenia is responsible for the various ways we use to communicate with others, such as social media, our monthly newsletter and press releases.
She also facilitates internal communication by maintaing regular contact with our regional branches.

Wouter Gepken was elected in October 2019 for a term until the fall of 2021.
Wouter is responsible for helping passive and new members to become active within a capacity that suits their skills and interests.
He is the primary contact for members who find it difficult to get involved, including internationals.

Board member 'politics' and vice-chairperson
Sebastiaan Spierings was elected on the 13th of April 2019 for a term until the beginning of 2021.
Sebastiaan has final responsibility for the political growth and development of members, and is responsible for maintaining our political relations. He keeps in touch with fellow youth organisations and frequently meets up with one of our national parliamentarians.

Noah Dull (1994) was elected on the 17th of november 2018 for a term until the fall of 2020.
Noah is responsible for getting recognition for the goals and activities of our organisation, both from potential members and possible allies.
He is the primary contact for non-political organisations looking for either brief or long term collaboration.
